USLT renews membership with Asia Pacific Career Development Association

The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) has renewed its organizational membership with the Asia Pacific Career Development Association (APCDA), strengthening its commitment to global career development initiatives.

APCDA serves as a platform for sharing career development ideas and best practices across the Asia Pacific region while engaging with global perspectives. Its mission is to promote collaboration among career practitioners, inspire professionals in the field, support research-driven career services, and advocate for inclusive workforce policies that ensure access to decent work for all.

According to APCDA, the association’s service area includes numerous countries, such as Australia, China, India, Japan, the Philippines, South Korea, the USA (including Guam), and many others.

By maintaining this international linkage, USLT gains valuable opportunities to exchange career development insights, stay informed on regional labor market trends, and participate in global webinars on emerging topics. Additionally, APCDA facilitates networking with universities and professionals worldwide, enhancing career and placement services at USLT.

For the past four years, APCDA has recognized USLT’s dedication to career development by awarding Mr. Jenikko L. Quinto and Mrs. Cristalie P. Almazan the prestigious Martha Russell Scholarship in 2021 and 2022, respectively. More so, it paved the way in providing Mr. Quinto Cannexus 2025 Scholarship. Cannexus is Canada’s largest bilingual career development annual conference, with close to 2,000 attendees.

Mr. Quinto remains actively involved in APCDA’s committees, monthly activities, and webinars.

Through this renewed partnership, USLT continues its mission of providing globally competitive education and high-quality services.
