SSC opens 3-day leadership convergence

The Supreme Student Council (SSC) of the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) officially opened the Louisian Leadership Convergence (LLC) 2026 today, September 10, 2026, in Sta. Maria, Isabela, bringing together student leaders for a three-day program focused on leadership formation, fellowship, and service.

Carrying the theme “SIGWA NG PAGBABAGO: Daluyong ng Paninindigan, Hamon sa Pagbubuklod ng Bukas,” the program seeks to provide participants with meaningful experiences that encourage reflection, collaboration, and a stronger commitment to leadership.

The opening day, themed “Pagharap sa Sigwa,” features a series of activities where participants will take part in sessions and group activities designed to build connections, encourage personal reflection, and strengthen their leadership capacities.

The convergence will continue on September 11 and 12, with the succeeding activities building on the lessons and experiences of the opening day. The three-day program will culminate on September 12, putting together the insights and experiences gained throughout the convergence.

By bringing student leaders together outside the usual campus setting, the SSC seeks to create an environment where participants can learn from one another, form meaningful connections, and reflect on how they can contribute to their community.

Beyond leadership formation and fellowship, the convergence also supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions by strengthening student leadership, encouraging responsible participation, and fostering a culture of collaboration and service among young leaders.
