Summa Cum Laude
General weighted average of 95% or higher with no grade in any one subject below 93%.
Magna Cum Laude
General weighted average of 92% or higher with no grade in any one subject below 89%.
Cum Laude
General weighted average of 90% or higher with no grade in any one subject below 85%.
Academic Distinction
General weighted average of 90% in all academic subjects with only one grade in the line of seven (7) not lower than 80% (including NSTP) and be recommended by the Academic Dean.

Non-Academic Awards
Saint Aloysius Gonzaga
The highest award given to a graduating student who excelled in USL’s 4 core values both in the school and the community.
Leadership Award
This award is categorized into gold, silver and bronze depending on the personal traits and leadership qualities of the awardee both in the school and the community.
Service Award
This is given to a student based on his/her personal traits and extent and quality of his performance as a student leader both in school and the community.
Athletic Award
This award is given to a student who excels in sports both in school and outside competitions.
Chaplaincy Award
This award is given to a student who has served in the Campus Ministry or in the office of the Chaplain (for at least three years) in the promotion of all activities of the group/school.
Culture and Arts Award
This award is given to a student who excels in acting, singing, speech, arts and the like both in school and outside competition.
Journalism Award
This award is given to a student writer who in the course of his/her writing career or talent has helped advance the ideas of USL.
Loyalty Award
This award is given to a student who has continually studied in USL from high school to college.
