USLT-BES organizes Stakeholder Consultation, DepEd Grading System Orientation

The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao–Basic Education School (USLT-BES) convened administrators, Department of Education (DepEd) representatives, Executive Family Council (EFC) representatives, faculty members, student leaders, and community stakeholders for a Multi-Stakeholder Consultation and a DepEd New Grading System Orientation on May 28, 2026, at the Bulwagang Teodulfo Domingo.


In the morning session, Mr. Juvenal Agustin, DepEd Region 2 Science Supervisor, served as speaker during the Multi-Stakeholder Consultation, which provided a venue for meaningful dialogue on school programs, initiatives, and the welfare of BES learners. Stakeholders actively shared insights and engaged in open communication, reinforcing shared responsibility in achieving common educational goals.


In the afternoon, faculty members participated in the DepEd New Grading System Orientation to deepen their understanding of updated grading policies and assessment standards in basic education. The session featured Ms. Myrna Q. Adduru, Education Program Supervisor in Science, who discussed the implementation and significance of the revised grading system in promoting fair, accurate, and learner-centered assessment practices.


An open forum followed, where faculty members raised relevant questions and shared classroom insights, demonstrating active engagement in applying the updated guidelines in instruction.


Through these initiatives, USLT-BES continues to uphold its commitment to quality, learner-centered education through collaboration and professional development.
