The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) held a Send-off Program for AFS student Yusuke Motegi, a Grade 12 Japanese student under the AFS Intercultural Programs, on May 26, 2026, at the Sacred Heart Boardroom.
Yusuke joined the Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) strand of the Basic Education School as a regular student beginning September 18, 2025. Throughout his stay, he was recognized for his courage in pursuing global education, his dedication to academic excellence, and his active role in promoting international friendship and cultural understanding within the school community.
The program highlighted heartfelt messages from his foster families, the Combate and Zablan families, who expressed their gratitude and support and shared their reflections on Yusuke’s positive impact during his stay.
The send-off ceremony underscored USLT’s commitment to intercultural exchange and global learning, celebrating Yusuke’s journey as part of the Louisian community.
