In celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of Piat, the Louisian community gathered for a Eucharistic Celebration today, July 2, 2026, at the Good Shepherd Chapel.
The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. John Mark D. Barroga, CICM, Vice President for Mission and Identity and University Chaplain, who encouraged the faithful to emulate the Blessed Virgin Mary’s unwavering faith, humility, and complete trust in God’s will. He emphasized that Mary’s life continues to inspire Christians to respond wholeheartedly to God’s call through lives of prayer, service, and discipleship.
Faculty members, administrators, non-teaching personnel, and students participated in the celebration, reflecting the Louisian community’s shared devotion to the Blessed Mother and its commitment to nurturing faith through communal worship.
The Eucharistic Celebration was sponsored by the Basic Education School – Elementary Department as part of the university’s observance of the feast, fostering spiritual renewal and honoring Our Lady of Piat.
The annual celebration underscores USLT’s commitment to strengthening Marian devotion and cultivating a Christ-centered community rooted in the CICM mission of faith formation, service, and academic excellence.
