The university’s accounting students displayed remarkable performance, winning awards in the 27th National Mid-Year Convention (NMYC) held on February 11-14, 2025, in Bacolod City.
Lawrence E. Taquiqui prevailed as the champion in the Accounting Royale event while Raphael Luis G. Inovero clinched first runner-up in the 5th Samuel Misa Cup: Financial Accounting and Reporting category.
Angelie V. Sumeran was also hailed as the champion in the Amazing Race: Throne of Westeros category as well as the third runner-up in the Palaro ng Lahi: NFJPIA’s Epic Festive Event.
NMYC is an inter-regional academic and non-academic competition, dedicated to showcasing the skills and knowledge of accounting students across the country and organized by the National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants.
