USLT blesses new parking area for Louisian community

The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) blesses its newly improved parking area along Lecaros Street today, September 8, 2026, providing an added facility for the convenience and safety of the Louisian community.

The blessing ceremony is led by Rev. Fr. Macwayne N. Maniwang, CICM, Ph.D., University President, and Rev. Fr. John Mark D. Barroga, CICM, MATh-PM, Vice President for Mission and Identity/University Chaplain. Members of the administration, faculty, staff, and students witness the blessing as the new facility is formally offered for the use of the Louisian community.

Located at the Main Campus, the parking area provides additional space for members of the university community and helps maintain a more organized campus environment.

The project contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) by improving campus infrastructure and providing facilities that respond to the needs of the university community. It also supports Sustainable Development Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) by promoting a safer, more organized, and accessible campus environment for students, faculty, staff, and other members of the Louisian community.
