The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) held its Employees’ General Assembly on May 15, 2026, at the Bulwagang Teodulfo Domingo (New EMC).
The assembly was presided over by the university president, Rev. Fr. Macwayne N. Maniwang, CICM, Ph.D., who addressed faculty and staff on developments concerning employee welfare. In his message, he presented the proposed benefits set to take effect in the incoming academic year 2026–2027, highlighting the administration’s continuing efforts to support and recognize the contributions of its personnel.
Among the proposed additions to the employee benefit package are 14th-month pay, a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), and the inclusion of a Saint Peter Memorial Life Plan. These initiatives aim to enhance financial security, health coverage, and long-term support for employees and their families.
The General Assembly also featured a forum where employees could raise concerns and other general matters, fostering open communication between the administration and personnel.
The General Assembly served as a venue for communication and alignment, reinforcing the university’s commitment to maintaining a responsive and supportive work environment for its employees.
