USLT-SHS leaders implement SLP in San Antonio, Enrile

The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT), through its Senior High School (SHS) student organizations, implemented the Learning, Inspiration, Nurture, Guidance, and Assistance Program (LINGAP-Kabataan) as part of their Service-Learning Program (SLP) in San Antonio, Enrile, Cagayan, on September 26, 2026.

The activity was carried out by the Humanities and Social Sciences Council (HUMSS Council), Guild of Louisian Debaters Senior High School (GOLD CLUB SHS), Ka-Tribo Club Senior High School, and Society of English Enthusiasts-Supreme Ambassador Guild of Eloquent Senior High School (SEE-SAGES SHS). The student leaders engaged children in interactive educational games and activities.

Through the session, the children learned about the role of social workers and how they support individuals, families, and communities. The games and activities also encouraged them to participate, communicate, work with others, and learn enjoyably.

For the Louisian leaders, the activity provided an opportunity to apply their knowledge and leadership skills while creating a participatory learning environment for the children.

The SLP supports Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by providing children with engaging and accessible learning opportunities. It also contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through the collaboration of different USLT student organizations in carrying out the service-learning program.
