As part of the 10th Gawad San Luis for Employees held on June 21, 2026, at the James Ter Meer Gymnasium, the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao paid tribute to three retirees whose years of dedicated service contributed significantly to the institution’s mission and growth.
Honored during the program were Edwin A. Allesa, Construction Materials Custodian/Caretaker; Ricky N. Domingo, Print Production Staff; and Imelda V. Taguiam, Secretary of the School of Education, Criminology, Arts, and Psychology.
A message of gratitude was delivered by Dr. Venus I. Guyos, Assistant Director for Strategic Management and Accreditation, who reflected on the retirees’ years of commitment, hard work, and invaluable contributions to the Louisian community.
In recognition of their service, the retirees received a Statue of Rev. Fr. Theophile Verbist and a commemorative token. As an expression of appreciation, various university offices also presented gifts to the honorees.
Meanwhile, a tribute video highlighting memorable moments and milestones throughout their years in the university was likewise shown, serving as a heartfelt expression of gratitude for their dedication and service.
Speaking on behalf of the retirees, Mr. Ricky N. Domingo delivered a message of appreciation, sharing reflections on his years at the university and expressing gratitude to the administration, colleagues, and the Louisian community for the experiences and opportunities that shaped his professional journey.
The tribute underscored the university’s appreciation for the lasting legacy and invaluable contributions of its retiring employees, whose service has helped advance the institution’s mission through the years.
