In celebration of the Feast of Saint Aloysius Gonzaga, the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) recognized the dedication, excellence, and service of its employees during the 10th Gawad San Luis for Employees held on June 21, 2026, at the James Ter Meer Gymnasium.
The event commenced with a Eucharistic celebration at the Good Shepherd Chapel, gathering administrators, faculty members, and staff in thanksgiving for the gifts of service and commitment demonstrated by the Louisian workforce.
The formal program opened with welcome remarks from Vice President for Administration Dr. Marie Rose P. Mora, who acknowledged the invaluable contributions of employees in advancing the university’s mission and vision. This was followed by an inspirational message from University President Rev. Fr. Macwayne N. Maniwang, CICM, PhD, who expressed gratitude to the awardees and encouraged all employees to continue embodying excellence, integrity, and service in their respective roles.
A highlight of the celebration was the recognition of employees who have demonstrated outstanding performance and commitment in various fields. Awards conferred included Academic Achievement, Professional Excellence, Civic Engagement and Social Responsibility, Excellence in Research and Creative Works, Acceleration in Rank, Exemplary Performance Award, Special Institutional Award, and Service Awards.
Representing the awardees, Guadalupe Herminia A. Annang of the Basic Education School – Elementary department delivered a message of gratitude and reflection. A recipient of the Loyalty Award for 30 Years of Service, Annang shared her appreciation for the opportunities, experiences, and relationships that have shaped her journey as a Louisian educator.
Now on its tenth year, Gawad San Luis for Employees continues to recognize employees whose dedication and achievements contribute to the university’s pursuit of excellence in education, research, and community engagement.
