The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) paid tribute to six employees who have retired after years of loyal service to the university.
Dr. Dindo V. Asuncion, who served for 21 years, was recognized for his leadership as the Dean of the School of Health and Allied Sciences. Thelma C. Baricaua, who spent 31 years as the Campus Ministry Director, was also honored for her commitment to spiritual formation.
Moreover, Rovelle Conception S. Siazon, a faculty member from the School of Accountancy, Business and Hospitality, was acknowledged for 16 years of service in the academic field.
Meanwhile, non-teaching personnel were also recognized. Gemma S. Marribay, Records Clerk of the Office of Student Affairs and Services, retired after 34 years of service. Roger G. Lacambra, a carpenter, served the university for 30 years, while Noel B. Langcay, a janitor, completed 29 years of service.
In recognition of their dedicated service, each retiree received a Statue of Rev. Fr. Theophile Verbist, founder of the CICM missionaries. They were also serenaded and given tokens and gifts from friends and colleagues who have worked closely with them over the years.
During the program, Dr. Alicia S. Tuliao, Senior Director of the Human Resource Management Services, delivered a message of appreciation to the retirees. Afterward, Dr. Asuncion gave a heartfelt message on behalf of the retirees. He expressed gratitude and fond memories of their time at the university.
The heartfelt tribute highlighted the legacy of the retirees and their valuable contributions to the Louisian community. Said program was held on August 1, 2025, at the James Ter Meer Gymnasium.
