The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) joined fellow CICM educational institutions at the Congregatio Immaculati Cordis Mariae (CICM) Philippine Schools Network (PSN) Governance Assembly 2026, held on July 8-10, 2026, at Dohera Hotel in Mandaue City, Cebu.
Guided by the theme “Embodying and Advancing the Beautiful CICM Mission,” the three-day assembly featured strategic discussions and collaborative engagement centered on strengthening institutional leadership and mission-driven initiatives across the CICM school network.
Representing USLT were University President Rev. Fr. Macwayne N. Maniwang, CICM, PhD, together with administrators and office heads from various academic and support units. The delegation actively participated in cluster meetings and workshops that focused on enhancing institutional effectiveness while responding to emerging opportunities and challenges in Catholic education.
Furthermore, other members of the assembly include Saint Louis University, Saint Mary’s University, Saint Louis College–San Fernando, Saint Louis College–Cebu, and Maryhill School of Theology. Various governance clusters convened throughout the event to exchange best practices, align strategic priorities, and reinforce collaborative efforts across the network.
Through its participation, USLT reaffirmed its commitment to the CICM mission of providing transformative Catholic education rooted in faith, excellence, and service while pursuing innovative and sustainable initiatives that respond to the evolving needs of learners and society.
