The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) welcomed delegates from the University of La Salette, Inc. (ULS) for an academic benchmarking activity, held on July 13, 2026, at the Sacred Heart Boardroom.
Representatives from three USLT offices shared their respective frameworks, functions, and major programs. Maribel J. Tacata, MAEd, Prefect of Women, presented the services and programs of the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS). Meanwhile, Lily Ann B. Dela Cruz, MSIT, OIC-Director of Community Engagement and CICM Advocacies (CECA), discussed the university’s community engagement efforts and CICM advocacies. Likewise, Marie Jean N. Mendezabal, DME, Senior Director for Strategic Management, Quality Assurance, and Accreditation (SMQAA), outlined the office’s quality-assurance systems, strategic-management practices, and accreditation processes.
The benchmarking activity encouraged meaningful discussions and the sharing of experiences, allowing both institutions to gain valuable perspectives that support continuous improvement in the delivery of quality education and services.
Aligned with SDG 4: Quality Education, the academic benchmarking activity encouraged the exchange of effective practices in student services, community engagement, and quality assurance.
