The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) held its Stakeholders’ Appreciation Day and Awarding Ceremony as the closing program of the week-long Research, Innovation, and Sustainability Excellence (RISE) and Social Engagement, Responsibility, Volunteerism, and Enterprise (SERVE) 2026 celebration on April 30, 2026 at the Bulwagang Teodulfo Domingo.
The RISE and SERVE 2026 opened with remarks from Vice President for Academics Dr. Luisa B. Aquino, who underscored collaboration and shared commitment in sustaining excellence, and delivered the University President’s message on his behalf.
A highlight of the ceremony was the Stakeholders’ Appreciation, honoring partners of the University Research and Innovation Office (URIO) and the Community Engagement and CICM Advocacies (CECA). The recognition underscored the university’s strong partnerships in promoting research, innovation, and community-centered programs.
The event also featured the RISE Awards 2026, which recognized exemplary contributions in research presentations, research publications, research awards, research utilization, and special awards. The awarding celebrated individuals and groups whose work significantly contributed to knowledge production and innovation within and beyond the university.
Winners of various competitions and activities during the RISE and SERVE 2026 week-long celebration were likewise honored, showcasing the creativity, excellence, and active participation of students, faculty, and personnel.
Through this culminating activity, USLT reaffirmed the vital role of collaboration among stakeholders in driving institutional growth and sustaining a culture of excellence grounded in research, innovation, and community engagement.
