The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) proudly celebrates its 23rd anniversary of universityhood on May 20, 2025, a noteworthy milestone achieved through the unwavering leadership of its past and present administrators, along with the dedication of its former and current employees.
The festivities commenced with a heartfelt Eucharistic celebration at the BCJ Campus, followed by a gathering at the Main Campus. This joyous occasion was enriched by the presence of two newly ordained CICM priests, namely Rev. Fr. Elson De la Cruz and Rev. Fr. Van Panistante, together with University President Rev. Fr. Macwayne N. Maniwang, CICM, PhD and VP for Mission and Identity/University Chaplain Rev. Fr. John Mark D. Barroga.
During the homily delivered by Fr. De la Cruz, an inspiring message was conveyed. As we reflect on this significant milestone, we are reminded of two essential values: perseverance and gratitude.
Perseverance has been the driving force behind the university’s remarkable journey. Through every challenge and triumph, the steadfast commitment of our employees, parents, alumni, and benefactors has helped shape this institution into what it is today. The dedication to providing quality education has remained steadfast in both our local community and the wider region.
Equally important is the need for gratitude. We owe a debt of thanks to all those who have contributed to our growth over the years, particularly the CICM fathers and lay collaborators.
Mabuhay to the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao! Let us continue our mission of serving the youth and transforming society for the better.
