The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT), through its Human Resource Management Services (HRMS), conducted the 2026 National Women’s Month Celebration on March 25, 2026, highlighting the theme, “WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society.” The activity gathered the women employees in support of gender awareness, wellness, and empowerment initiatives.

The program opened with a welcome remarks from Dr. Alicia S. Tuliao, HRMS Senior Director. Rev. Fr. Macwayne N. Maniwang, CICM, Ph.D., University President, then delivered a message of appreciation, recognizing the significant contributions of women in fostering an inclusive academic community.

Among the highlights of the celebration was the session titled “Serbisyo Para Kay Juanang Luisiyana: Personality Development,” facilitated by Ms. Gladys Addun, Owner of GA HMUA, who demonstrated the proper techniques in hair styling and makeup application, emphasizing personal grooming, growth, and self-confidence. This was followed by a talk on Breast and Cervical Cancer Awareness delivered by Ms. Rachel Ann S. Asino, RN, MSN, emphasizing preventive care and health education.

In addition, wellness services were offered to participants, including free haircutting and eyebrow shaping. A raffle draw was also conducted, featuring gift certificates for massage, manicure and pedicure, coffee, and other treats for employees, courtesy of generous sponsors.

Ultimately, the celebration underscored the university’s commitment to gender equality and inclusive development while providing meaningful opportunities for empowerment, awareness, and holistic well-being within the Louisian community.
