The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) proudly congratulates Angel Bert P. Baggayan, a Basic Education School (BES) SHS student, for winning third place in the recently concluded Lion City Championship Full Contact Karate Tournament held on September 6, 2025, at the Striker Martial Arts Gym, Aperia Mall, Singapore.
Baggayan earned the bronze medal in the Youth Above 60 kg category, showcasing his skill and determination on the international stage. He was trained under the guidance of Christopher Mallillin of the International Karate Alliance Kyokushinryu Tuguegarao Branch, whose mentorship and discipline prepared him for the tournament.
The entire Louisian community commends Mr. Baggayan for bringing pride to the institution through his remarkable achievement, which reflects the Louisian values of perseverance, excellence, and sportsmanship.
