The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) Basic Education School (BES) held its Fourth Grading Recognition Ceremony on April 29, 2025, at the James Ter Meer Gymnasium, celebrating the academic and non-academic accomplishments of the Junior High School (JHS) students.
The ceremony opened with a prayer led by Gabrielle C. Balunsat, a Grade 7 student. Precious Chritzen U. Tucjang, an eighth-grade student, delivered the welcome address.
A total of six students received With High Honors for their exceptional academic performance, while 203 received With Honors, reflecting the school’s commitment to academic excellence.
The awarding of medals of academic excellence was led by Rev. Fr. Macwayne N. Maniwang, CICM, Ph.D., University President, and Dr. Emily T. Mabborang, Assistant Vice President for the Basic Education School and School Principal.
Recognition was also extended to non-academic achievers by awarding medals and/or certificates of merit, with Marie Rose P. Mora, DBM, Vice President for Administration, joining Fr. Maniwang in presenting the awards.
Charice Faye M. Trinidad, a Grade 9 Advance Science student, offered her words of gratitude on behalf of the awardees. The ceremony concluded with a closing prayer by Junelle Ann S. Rabanal, a Grade 7 student.
Through this recognition ceremony, the USLT-BES continues to embody the importance of academic and co-curricular excellence, inspiring students to strive for holistic development in the Louisian spirit.
