The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) has been recognized with the Excellence in Quality Assurance in Teacher Education (EQUATE) Award at The Manila Hotel on April 2, 2025. Out of 1,553 Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs) in the country, only 120 received this prestigious honor.
USLT is one of just four institutional awardees in Region 2, affirming its commitment to producing competent and globally competitive educators. This recognition highlights the university’s dedication in consistently ensuring the quality of pre-service teacher education programs and excellent performance in the Board of Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT).
Dr. Luisa B. Aquino, Vice President for Academics, Dr. Herbert S. Corpuz, Academic Dean of the School of Education, Criminology, Arts, and Psychology, and Ms. Kristine Mae R. Auayang, Teacher Education and Languages Department Head received the award on behalf of the institution.
