The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) held a send-off program for AFS student Samuele Sargenti on September 25, 2026, at the Sacred Heart Board Room, marking the conclusion of his exchange experience at the university.
The program brought together school administrators, faculty members, the class adviser, and Samuele’s host family for a meaningful farewell. It featured messages from school representatives, a video presentation, and a message from Samuele, a Grade 12 student from Italy.
Further, the activity included the awarding of certificates and tokens to commemorate Samuele’s time as an AFS student. The program provided an opportunity for the USLT community to recognize his participation and the connections formed through the exchange experience.
This initiative supports Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education by promoting learning experiences that extend beyond the classroom. It also aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goal through USLT’s collaboration with AFS Intercultural Programs in fostering intercultural understanding, global awareness, and lifelong learning.
