The School of Health and Allied Sciences (SHAS) recognized its outstanding students through the Recognition Program for Academic Scholars and Top Achievers, held today, August 25, 2026, at the James Ter Meer Gymnasium.
The recognition highlighted students who earned Dean’s List distinctions with Highest Honors, High Honors, and Honors, as well as the Top 10 students per year level.
SHAS Academic Dean Alvin A. Aldea, MSMT delivered the congratulatory message and led the awarding of the academic scholars, with the assistance of the department heads from Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, and Pharmacy.
Moreover, the program featured an achiever’s message from Mark Jhune V. Patriarca, BSPharm 2, and a response from his parent, Mrs. Lovilla V. Patriarca, highlighting the role of determination and support in students’ academic journey.
The recognition program underscored SHAS’s commitment to acknowledging academic achievement and inspiring students to pursue excellence in their chosen health professions, aligning with Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education.
