SACE recognizes academic scholars

The School of Architecture, Computing, and Engineering (SACE) recognized its outstanding students during the Academic Recognition Program held today, September 1, 2026, at the James Ter Meer Gymnasium.

The ceremony honored Dean’s Listers with Highest Honors, High Honors, and Honors, recognizing students for their academic excellence and achievements. SACE Academic Dean Victor C. Villaluz, DEM, led the recognition and awarding, assisted by the department heads of the different programs.

Significantly, the celebration also featured an Achiever’s Message from academic scholar Lance Odrei L. Redito, BSCS 2, who shared reflections on his academic journey and the importance of perseverance in reaching one’s goals. His grandparent, Rachel V. Caranguian, likewise delivered a response, highlighting the role of family support in a student’s pursuit of academic excellence.

Overall, the event highlighted the students’ dedication to their studies and the university’s continuing commitment to recognizing academic excellence. It also supports Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, particularly by promoting academic excellence and encouraging learners to pursue higher educational standards.
