Louisian athlete wins 2nd place in table tennis tournament

Garet C. Dalluay, a 1st year BSGE student from the School of Architecture, Computing, and Engineering, secured the second place in the U-19 Boys Singles category at the World Table Tennis Youth Contender Regional Qualifying Tournament held on November 23-24, 2024, at the Calao East Community Center in Santiago City.



Team USLT, composed of six Basic Education School students, namely Andre Luiz Ramirez (Grade 12), Andrei Ansan A. Pagulayan (Grade 12), Joana Marie R. Leaño (Grade 12), Aj Eloja Roque (Grade 11), Aliyah Lleonah F. Sandoval (Grade 11), Shawn Halley A. Gundan (Grade 8), together with Dalluay from the college department, competed against top players from the region.


Under the guidance of Ms. Abigail F. Gumabay, the Louisian athletes demonstrated remarkable sportsmanship and commitment. Their performance reflects the growing talent and dedication within the university’s athletic program.


In turn, the entire Louisian community takes pride in these accomplishments.
