Day 3 of Socio-Cultural Night brings crowd-favorite musical showdowns

Music and live performances once again filled the Open Field on February 11, 2026, as the Louisian community gathered for another exciting evening of socio-cultural competitions, highlighting vocal power, harmony, and acoustic artistry from students and faculty alike.


The evening opened with the Louisian Vocal Duet (Student Edition), where pairs of talented performers showcased harmony and stage chemistry. The Basic Education School (BES) emerged as champion, followed by the School of Accountancy, Business, and Hospitality (SABH) as first runner-up, and the School of Architecture, Computing, and Engineering (SACE) as second runner-up.


Teachers then took the spotlight in the Louisian Duet (Teachers Edition), delivering powerful and entertaining performances. SABH claimed the championship title, with SACE placing first runner-up and BES securing second runner-up.


The competition intensified during the Acoustic Play-off, where groups captivated the audience with live instrumental and vocal performances. SACE clinched the championship, while the School of Education, Criminology, Arts, and Psychology (SECAP) earned first runner-up, and BES finished as second runner-up.


The night’s excitement peaked with Louisian Vocal Clash Round 2, narrowing the competition down to three finalists. Advancing to the final round are representatives from SACE, BES, and SABH, setting the stage for a highly anticipated showdown in the upcoming final round.


Day 3 once again demonstrated the exceptional musical talents within the Louisian community, further energizing the ongoing celebration of the university’s 61st Founding Anniversary.
