To integrate academic theory with industry practice, third-year Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSAc) and fourth-year Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting (BSMA) students from the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) conducted educational firm visits across top accounting firms in Makati City from September 2 to October 2, 2026.
The off-campus engagement allowed the students to understand career opportunities, observe corporate operations, and experience workplace culture firsthand.
The first batch were 45 fourth-year BSMA students from September 2 to 4, followed by 47 third-year BSAc students from September 30 to October 2.
With a strong support for student development, the host firms welcomed the students by conducting office tours, brief seminars, career discussions, and networking sessions in various practice areas. This generous hospitality and engagement directly reinforced the visit’s learning objectives, offering students priceless industry exposure and professional guidance.
By connecting academic instruction with field exposure, the initiative embodied the university’s core values of Excellence and Professional Responsibility.
