The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) hosts the CICM Student Leadership Convergence 2026 from October 6 to 9, uniting student leaders from across CICM schools for a shared journey of leadership, faith, and mission.
With the theme “Young Leaders as Missionary Disciples: Surviving the Challenges, Serving the Mission, and Leading with Faith, Unity, and Purpose,” the convergence frames leadership as a journey of survival, growth, and service. The gathering encourages student leaders to face challenges together while deepening their commitment to the missionary vocation of CICM education.
The convergence brings together student leaders from Saint Louis University, Saint Louis College–La Union, Saint Louis College–Cebu, Saint Mary’s University, and USLT, providing opportunities for them to connect, exchange experiences, and strengthen their sense of unity as young leaders in CICM institutions.
Anchored on the concept of a survival journey, the program moves through key phases: Awakening the Missionary Leader; Immersion, Connection, and Action; and Sending Forth. These stages guide participants from recognizing their role as missionary leaders to engaging with others, putting their leadership into action, and carrying the lessons of the convergence back to their respective communities.
As this year’s host school, USLT welcomes fellow CICM student leaders to a convergence that highlights leadership not only as a responsibility but also as a mission rooted in faith, unity, and purpose.
The gathering contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education by providing student leaders with opportunities for leadership formation, collaboration, and values-based learning beyond the classroom. It also contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions by promoting responsible and inclusive leadership among young people.
