The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) grounds went ablaze as the School of Architecture, Computing, and Engineering (SACE) turned up the heat from September 28 to October 2, 2026, for the SACE Week 2026. Anchored on the theme “Dune: Of Blood that Binds, Of Paths Yet Forged into the Next Chapter of SACE,” three Houses entered the arena: House Corrino, House Atreides, and House Harkonnen.
With SACE’s dragon spirit blazing, each House battled for supremacy through events that tested wit, strength, creativity, and teamwork. The SACE Ambassadors and Ambassadresses 2026, dubbed the Battle of Brains and Brawn, challenged representatives to showcase confidence, intelligence, and presence.
Another highlight was the ‘Luminaries’ that transformed the Houses into striking visual displays. Intricate details inspired by each House brought their identities to life, showing the students’ creativity and dedication.
After days of fierce competition, House Corrino emerged as the Overall Champion, with House Atreides as First Runner-Up and House Harkonnen as Second Runner-Up.
Beyond the banners, rivalries, and victories, SACE Week celebrated the bond that holds its community together. Like the great Houses of Dune, each carried its own identity, but all shared one realm and one purpose: to shape what comes next.
As the dragon’s flames settle, the next chapter of SACE awaits. The path remains uncharted, but the students are ready to forge it.
The SACE Week 2026 supports Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education by providing students with opportunities to develop creativity, leadership, collaboration, critical thinking, and other skills beyond the classroom. Through these experiences, SACE helps prepare students to become capable professionals who can contribute meaningfully to their communities and future fields.
