USLT holds 5th Pinning Ceremony of PolSci students

The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) honored its fourth-year Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (BAPOS) with Legal Professional Preparatory Program students during the 5th Pinning Ceremony on August 25, 2026, at the Bulwagang Teodulfo Domingo.


The ceremony formally recognized the students as they marked another significant milestone in their academic journey and prepared for the professional path ahead, which began with a Eucharistic Celebration presided over by Rev. Fr. John Mark D. Barroga, CICM, Vice President for Mission and Identity/ University Chaplain.


Following the mass, Dean Herbert S. Corpuz, Ed.D. welcomed the audience with his opening remarks to set the tone for this momentous event.


Moreover, Atty. Cristine Joy Castro shared insights intended to guide and inspire the students as they advance toward their future careers in law, governance, and public service.


Highlighting the event was the Pinning Ceremony, which symbolized the students’ transition into a new stage of their academic and professional preparation. It was followed by the Candle Lighting Ceremony, signifying their commitment to uphold the principles and responsibilities expected of future professionals.


Meanwhile, the students took an Oath of Service as a sign of their affirmation in their commitment to responsible and ethical service.


The 5th Pinning Ceremony reflects USLT’s continuing commitment to developing competent, principled, and socially responsible graduates who are prepared to contribute meaningfully to the legal and public service sectors. It also supports Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education by providing students with learning experiences that strengthen their professional formation and readiness for future service.
