The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) welcomes Samuele Sargenti, a Grade 12 student from Italy, as he begins his three-month Intercultural Immersion Program under the Senior High School unit of the Basic Education School. From July to October 2026, Samuele will study alongside Louisians while experiencing Philippine culture and the university’s learning environment. He will join the Grade 12 Saint Maria Goretti section.
Through this program, Samuele will have the opportunity to build friendships, exchange cultures, and learn from meaningful classroom and community experiences. In return, his presence will also allow Louisian students to gain a broader perspective by interacting with a fellow learner from another country.
This initiative supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education by promoting intercultural learning and providing students with meaningful global educational experiences. It also contributes to SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by strengthening international collaboration and fostering cultural exchange through education.
