History is made as the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) – BS Pharmacy Program officially launches its strategic partnership with the Asian Hospital and Medical Center (AHMC) in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Philippines.
This landmark collaboration bridges the gap between Northern Luzon and world-class healthcare, providing student-pharmacists with an immersive experience in a Joint Commission International (JCI)-accredited environment. The university is not only sending interns but also deploying future leaders equipped for modern, patient-centered pharmacy practice.
Selected through a grueling process of clinical evaluations, rigid university interviews, and a final screening by the AHMC committee, these seven 4th-year students have proven they are ready for the global stage:
· Micka Faye C. Abeya
· Louella D. Alonzo
· Ryda Erinne V. Fernandez
· Juno Carmeleen S. Fugaban
· Donica Guelle P. Garcia
· Camille N. Lustre
· Divina Gracia B. Tumolva
Deployed on May 11, 2026, they represent the first cohort from the region to train at this prestigious institution.
The Pharmacy Department Head, Vic Valiant O. Laureta, RPh, CPh, MS Pharm, who completed his own Clinical Pharmacy Clerkship at AHMC in 2024, shares the vision behind this link as it opens doors to unprecedented professional opportunities.
As a premier member of the Metro Pacific Health network, AHMC offers the interns exposure to state-of-the-art medication management and multidisciplinary ward rounds.
By bringing “Metro-standard” expertise back to the North, USLT reaffirms its mission to deliver quality, relevant education.
