The Basic Education School (BES) of the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) held its Senior High School Commencement Exercises on March 28, 2026, at the James Ter Meer Gymnasium, gathering graduates from the ABM, HUMSS, STEM Health, and STEM Non-Health strands in a full-day ceremony that honored 762 completers and recognized academic and non-academic excellence.
In the morning, graduates from the Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Non-Health (STEM-NH) strands took part in the rites. Elisa Mae R. Duldulao, from the ABM strand, delivered the message on behalf of the class. In the afternoon, the Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Health (STEM-H) strands held their ceremonies, with Bhell Amethyst C. Padamada of STEM-H sharing a message that reflected the graduates’ hopes.
The STEM-H strand recorded 380 graduates, followed by STEM-NH with 214, ABM with 98, and HUMSS with 70. The university also recognized excellence across academic and non-academic fields. Awardees included 55 from STEM-H, 38 from ABM, 25 from STEM-NH, and 8 from HUMSS. In addition, 170 students received non-academic awards across all strands. Loyalty awards were given to 35 students who remained committed to the university through the years.
The awarding of diplomas was led by Rev. Fr. Macwayne N. Maniwang, CICM, Ph.D., University President, together with Dr. Luisa B. Aquino, Vice President for Academics, and Dr. Emily T. Mabborang, Basic Education Principal. Meanwhile, Rev. Fr. John Mark D. Barroga, CICM, Vice President for Mission and Identity and University Chaplain, joined Dr. Darwin F. Dumlao, Assistant Principal for Administration and Student Affairs, in recognizing the loyalty awardees.
