BES student wins silver at Philippine National Road Cycling Championship 2026

The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) proudly congratulates Davine P. Novo, Basic Education School (BES) student, for winning the Silver Medal in the Women’s Junior Road Race at the Philippine National Road Cycling Championship 2026 held in Tagaytay City from February 23 to 27, 2026.

The Philippine National Road Cycling Championship is one of the country’s premier cycling competitions, gathering elite and junior riders from across the country to compete for national titles. Organized annually, the event serves as a platform to identify top talent who may represent the Philippines in international competitions. The road race category, in particular, tests athletes’ endurance, race tactics, and climbing ability across long distances and challenging terrain.

Competing against the nation’s strongest junior cyclists, Ms. Novo demonstrated impressive stamina, discipline, and strategic awareness throughout the race.

Davine’s achievement brings pride to the entire Louisian community and affirms the university’s continued support for student athletes who strive for excellence in both academics and competitive sports.
