Academic excellence was celebrated at the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) during the College Academic Scholars’ Recognition Program held on September 19, 2025, at the James Ter Meer Gymnasium, honoring achievers from the School of Architecture, Computing and Engineering (SACE) and the School of Health and Allied Sciences (SHAS).
The event featured a special message from Rev. Fr. Macwayne N. Maniwang, CICM, PhD, University President, who highlighted the significance of academic discipline and commitment. This was followed by Mary Ann A. Baquiran, MAEd, University Registrar, who presented the criteria for academic scholarship, namely Dean’s Lister with Honors, Dean’s Lister with High Honors, and Dean’s Lister with Highest Honors.
Scholars then received their awards from Fr. Maniwang, assisted by Dr. Luisa B. Aquino, VP for Academics, together with Engr. Victor C. Villaluz, DEM, Dean of SACE, and Alvin A. Aldea, RMT, MSMT, OIC Dean of SHAS.
As part of the program highlights, BSPharm-2 student Jed Aldrick G. Time delivered an achiever’s message on behalf of the scholars, which was warmly responded to by his parent, Mr. Elimar C. Time.
The ceremony reaffirmed USLT’s mission to foster a culture of academic excellence and recognize the hard work and dedication of its scholars.
