Grade 12 students from the university’s Humanities and Social Sciences (HumSS) and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics-Health (STEM-H) strands marked the culmination of their basic education during the 8th Commencement Exercises on the afternoon of May 3, 2025.
The celebration commenced with a thanksgiving mass at the Good Shepherd Chapel and was followed by the acceptance and confirmation and awarding of diplomas and honors to the HumSS and STEM-H graduates at the James Ter Meer Gymnasium.
In recognition of their academic excellence, USLT awarded one student from STEM-H with high honors, while 111 STEM-H and 11 HumSS graduates were awarded with honors. Graduates with non-academic honors were also recognized for their achievements with medals and certificates of merit.
This formal recognition underscored the exceptional academic accomplishments and dedication of the graduates to their basic education.
