Five MAPEH teachers from the Basic Education School (BES) participated in the third season of the Online Sports Leadership Program (OSLP) National Summit 2024, held at the Cagayan State University-Claude Andrews Convention Center on August 23-24, 2024.
Joan C. Adducul, Ryle Jan M. Bucao, Richard David S. Deocampo, Diosdado T. Rodriguez, and Norman Rey I. Ulep represented USL at the summit, which focused on the essential role of storytelling, networking, and systems thinking in creating community-driven advocacies and movements.
The activity formally commenced with a message highlighting the significance of the 3GS (Grit, Growth, and Guts). During the event, participants had the opportunity to listen to prominent national and international keynote speakers. They also got the chance to meet and talk with three Olympic athletes.
The event was organized by the Philippine Olympians Association, Lyceum of the Philippines University, Adrenaline Solutions, Hon. Charo Soriano, and the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP), through its Regional Director, Atty. Jefferson P. Soriano.
Their participation serves as a gateway to numerous opportunities for growth as MAPEH teachers, leading to enhanced teaching effectiveness in the classroom and enriching the educational experience of Louisian students.
