The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) marked another international academic achievement as Ahron Renz T. Pataueg, a Grade 10–Rizal student of the Basic Education School, earned a Bronze Award at the World International Mathematical Olympiad (WIMO) Final Round 2025, held on January 3, 2026, at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen Campus.
Pataueg qualified for the prestigious final round after meeting the competition’s rigorous standards, which require contestants to secure two gold medals in the final rounds of prior qualifying stages. Competing against top young mathematicians from different countries, he demonstrated strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and mathematical proficiency.
This achievement highlights USLT’s continued commitment to academic excellence and global competitiveness, while bringing pride to the Basic Education School and the wider academic community.
