USLT solidifies partnership with gov’t agencies

The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao, through the Glocal Partnerships and Engagement office, spearheaded the ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with twenty-three (23) government agencies at the Bulwagang Teodulfo Domingo on February 3, 2025.


Featuring the theme “Building Bridges, Forging Futures,” the event marked the beginning of a strengthened partnership and a shared commitment toward providing quality internship programs to future Louisian professionals.


The event was graced by Rev. Fr. Macwayne N. Maniwang, CICM, PhD, University President, expressing his gratitude to all the stakeholders and underscoring that the formalized partnership will engage interns in meaningful work experiences.


“Together, we can create a robust ecosystem where our students can thrive, innovate, and contribute meaningfully to their chosen fields. Your support and collaboration are invaluable to us, and we look forward to building a future where our collective efforts translate into significant advancements in education, research, and industry practices,” Fr. Maniwang emphasized.


Dr. Luisa B. Aquino, Vice President for Academics, highlighted the significant role played by industry partners in the professional exposure program of students.


“We are committed to creating a dynamic and responsive educational environment that meets the evolving needs of the professional world. By staying abreast of industry trends and technological advancements, we aim to equip our students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their chosen fields. Our collaboration with you ensures that our curriculum remains relevant and forward-looking,” Dr. Aquino explained.


Meanwhile, Provincial Administrator Atty. Maria Rosario Mamba-Villaflor, representing the Honorable Governor Manuel Mamba, extended her appreciation to the university administration for its commitment to molding professionals who are industry-ready.


The partnership signing brought together LGU officials, regional directors, agency heads, and representatives, showcasing a range of initiatives aimed at fortifying the internship program of every Louisian.
