The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) took a stride in promoting research and innovation as it signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with 10 partner schools during a collaborative event on April 25, 2025, at the Bulwagang Teodulfo Domingo.
The participating schools included Saint Anthony’s College of Sta. Ana, St. Joseph College of Baggao, Inc., Our Lady of Perpetual Help System Laguna – Isabela Campus, St. Louis College of Bulanao, Our Lady of Pillar College – San Manuel, Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines / ISAP, Cagayan Valley Computer & Information Technology College, Saint Ferdinand College, Our Lady of Pillar College – Cauayan, and Aldersgate College.
Through this partnership, the schools committed to working together on various collaborative activities, including joint faculty training programs, co-authored research publications and presentations, international conference hosting, and the conduct of collaborative research.
The event, which also featured a Research Capability Building Program, was attended by faculty, staff, and student researchers with a goal to strengthen research linkages and improve research competencies.
The capability-building sessions during the event allowed participants to learn best practices, exchange insights, and discover ways to improve their research work.
With this initiative, USLT and its partner schools hope to foster a culture of research excellence that benefits the broader academic community.
