The Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) Strand proudly celebrated ABM Week 2025 from September 24 to October 10, 2025, anchored on the theme “SDG: Shaping Dreams for Greatness.” The celebration underscored the creativity, leadership, and entrepreneurial competence of Louisian ABM students through a series of academic, artistic, and advocacy-driven events that reflected the values of sustainability and innovation.
The celebration officially began with the ABM Banner Visuals Royale, an early activity held before the formal opening of ABM Week. Conducted at the Senior High School Building lobby, this competition showcased the artistry and collaboration of each house as they designed banners symbolizing their identity and team spirit. Adamya was declared champion, followed by Hathoria, Lireo, and Sapiro. The event set the tone for a week filled with creativity and vibrant participation.
The week formally opened on September 24, 2025, with the Advertisement Viewing and Judging held at the Bulwagang Teodulfo Domingo. Students from ABM, STEM (Non-Health), and HUMSS strands presented 30-second original advertisements promoting their innovative food products in their Entrepreneurship subject. Each entry demonstrated a deep understanding of marketing, storytelling, and brand development. After thorough evaluation, St. Leo the Great – Group 7 (HONGry Bites) earned first place, St. Leo the Great – Group 5 (Sabadheekhahp) ranked second, and St. Basil the Great – Group 1 (Crave) placed third.
Simultaneously, Grade 12 ABM students participated in the Financial Detective: Case Crackdown held in their respective classrooms. The event challenged them to analyze business cases involving financial ratios, bank reconciliations, and taxation. Their performance reflected their ability to apply theoretical concepts to practical financial problems. Lireo – Group 2 topped the competition, followed by Lireo – Group 3, Hathoria – Group 2, and Adamya – Group 1 (tied for second), and Lireo – Group 1 in third place.
The following day, September 25, began with Rainbow Rumbles, an engaging and colorful inter-teacher activity held at the Old EMC at 4:15 p.m. Faculty members from across academic areas joined the friendly competition, which tested strategy, creativity, and wit. Ma’am Kristine Taguba from the English Area emerged as champion, displaying both enthusiasm and strategic flair. Simultaneously, at 4:15 p.m., the energy was also high for the much-anticipated Flavor Pitch: The ABM Culinary Showdown at the JHS Cookery Lab, where Grade 11 and 12 ABM students turned business plans into culinary realities. Participants faced the thrilling challenge of using “chicken head” as the mystery ingredient, producing dishes that combined originality, taste, and business presentation. Lireo’s Creamy Tofu Chicken Croquettes was named champion, followed by Sapiro’s Pyramid Rice Tower and Adamya’s Chicken Seaweed Rolls, with Hathoria’s Shangrooms Rolls receiving special recognition for innovation.
Intellectual competitions soon followed with the ABM Family Feud, held at the Old EMC on September 26 at 4:15 p.m. Teams demonstrated wit and teamwork in answering survey-based questions related to business and general knowledge. Hathoria’s The Blazing Flames secured first place, while Lireo’s The Eternal Winds, Sapiro’s The Moonlit Spires, and Adamya’s The Emerald Tides followed in order.
On September 28, 2025, creativity continued through the EntepreTwins Kalookalike 2025. Teachers across different subject areas showcased humor and charisma by impersonating famous personalities. The entries were posted on the BOSS Facebook page. Sir Diosdado Rodriguez of the MAPEH Area was declared champion, followed by Ma’am Vanessa Liban of the TLE Area and Sir Carl Francis Ibay of the CFED/CLVE Area. The culminating day of ABM Week 2025 took place on October 10, 2025, at SM Center Tuguegarao Downtown, starting at 3:00 p.m. It brought together a series of major events that showcased the wit, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit of ABM students.
The program started with the Inquizitive Minds, a competition that tested the academic and analytical abilities of ABM students. The event gathered the brightest minds of the strand in an engaging and intellectually charged atmosphere. Adamya – Group 1 emerged as the champion, followed by Lireo – Group 2 in second place and Lireo – Group 1 in third. This event was also in collaboration with the SM Center Tuguegarao Downtown. Adding a creative and sustainable dimension to the celebration, The Companylator Project: A 3D Representation featured calculator models crafted from recyclable materials. This competition symbolized the fusion of innovation, practicality, and environmental awareness. Hathoria – St. Basil the Great earned first place, while Adamya – St. Basil the Great and Sapiro – St. Leo the Great secured second and third, respectively.
The atmosphere grew even livelier with The GENtrepZ Food Fest 2025, where students from the ABM, HUMSS, and STEM (Non-Health) strands showcased their food innovations to the public. Participants demonstrated their entrepreneurial and marketing skills by offering creative dishes that combined flavor with innovation. Puto Pizza from Grade 11 – St. Peter Damian claimed the championship title, followed by Kangkong Siomai from Grade 11 – St. Basil the Great as 1st Runner-Up, and a tie for 2nd Runner-Up between Hongry Bites from Grade 11 – St. Leo the Great and Sweet Delights from Grade 11 – St. John of the Cross. The event served as a flavorful showcase of business acumen and collaboration, reflecting the students’ ability to apply classroom concepts in a real-world entrepreneurial setting.
Capping off the celebration was the much-anticipated ECOGems 2025: Bridging Management, Advocacy, and Sustainability, the grand highlight of ABM Week. This pageant of intellect and purpose celebrated beauty aligned with advocacy, as candidates presented eco-friendly attire and advocacies that resonated with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Lhyianne Kaye Moran (St. Lucy of Rome) and Kaeniel Jude Deleon (St. Lucy of Rome) were crowned Ms. and Mr. ECOGems 2025, respectively. Runners-up included Justine Kyle Mendoza, Isabel Braun, Dylan Tamayao, and Carlo Antonio Macapagal.
The success of ABM Week 2025 was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the ABM teachers, ABM GEMxecutives officers, and The BOSS (Business Optimizers Student Society), whose leadership and dedication ensured the smooth conduct of every activity. Their teamwork truly reflected the Lousian spirit of excellence and service. Heartfelt thanks to the judges and to the USLT & BES Administration for their unwavering support. Indeed, ABM Week 2025: SDG-Shaping Dreams for Greatness went beyond a mere celebration.
