The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) recognized the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) as an Outstanding BSP Stakeholder during its 2025 Outstanding Stakeholders Appreciation Ceremony held on October 8, 2025, at The Monarch Hotel, Calasiao, Pangasinan.
USLT stood out as the lone awardee among higher education institutions (HEIs) in Northern Luzon, underscoring the university’s strong partnership with the BSP in promoting financial education and economic awareness.
Gracing the ceremony were BSP Deputy Governor and Chairperson of the Committee on Outstanding Stakeholders Bernadette Romulo-Puyat and Monetary Board Member Walter Wassmer, who presented the awards to this year’s honorees from both government and private institutions.
Leading the USLT initiative were Ms. Roselyn N. Lemi, SABH CECA Coordinator; Dr. Fe Rose-Anne B. Maramag; and Dr. Gladys T. Tumbali, BSBA instructors, in collaboration with the student organizations Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA), Junior Philippine Association of Management Accountants (JPAMA), and Junior Financial Executives (JFINEX).
Receiving the award on behalf of the university were Dr. Rizza V. Ramos, Dean of the School of Accountancy, Business, and Hospitality (SABH), and Dr. Mary Ann C. Bartolome, Head of the Business Administration Department.
This recognition highlights USLT’s enduring excellence and commitment to shaping financially literate and socially responsible Louisian leaders, in partnership with national institutions like the BSP.
