USLT programs achieve FAAP Level IV reaccredited status

The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) continues its tradition of excellence. Following an evaluation made by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) on March 20-21, 2025, a number of USLT programs have secured the Level IV Reaccredited Status from the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP). These programs first had their impressive Level IV accreditation status in 2012.


The attainment of Level IV status, the highest level of accreditation granted to academic programs in the Philippines, signifies that these programs are respected as high-quality academic offerings with prestige and authority comparable to similar programs in excellent universities within the country.


The programs that successfully secured the Level IV Reaccredited Status are:

1. Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with Legal Studies

2. Bachelor of Science in Psychology

3. Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED), majors in:

· English

· Filipino

· Mathematics

· Science

· Social Science

4. Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED)

5. Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), majors in:

· Financial Management

· Marketing Management

6. Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSAC)


The 2-day accreditation, conducted by a team of 11 accreditors, involved a comprehensive evaluation across various areas, including (1) Leadership and Governance, (2) Quality Assurance, (3) Resource Management, (4) Teaching-Learning, (5) Student Services, (6) External Relations, (7) Research, and (8) Results.


This feat is a clear testament to USLT’s relentless pursuit of academic excellence and continual improvement.


With this certification valid until May 2030, USLT solidifies its position as a leading institution committed to providing quality and relevant Catholic education in this part of the world.
