USLT Library receives Certificate of Compliance from PRC

The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) was awarded the prestigious Certificate of Compliance by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board for Librarians on January 13, 2025, solidifying its reputation as fully compliant with the requirements of Republic Act No. 9246, titled “An Act Regulating the Practice of Librarianship and Prescribing the Qualifications of Librarians.”



Following a rigorous virtual inspection and monitoring on February 18, 2024, the certificate was officially presented on January 13, 2025 by PRC Regional Director Mr. Juan G. Alilam, Jr. and Chief Professional Regulations Officer Mr. Arnel M. Melad. 


University Director of Libraries Michelle A. Abella, RL, MLIS received the said award, with her leadership and dedication to upholding library standards played a pivotal role in securing this recognition.


USLT is one of only two libraries in the region with this recognition, alongside the Cagayan Provincial Learning and Resource Center (CPLRC).
