The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) recently hosted the Festival of Catholic Social Teaching in a gathering held on February 28, 2025, at the Bulwagang Teodulfo Domingo (New EMC).
Students, teachers, and administrators from USLT, San Jacinto Seminary, St. Francis Academy of Sta. Teresita, Inc., St. Anthony’s Academy of Gonzaga, Inc., and Our Lady of the Pillar College-San Manuel, Inc. gathered together to participate in the meaningful opportunity to explore and discuss the socio-political vision of the Church.
Mr. Jeffrey Centeno, Ph.D., delved into the topic called “Thinking Politically with Pope Francis (The Formation of the Heart in the Service of the Common Good),” while Rev. Fr. Ranhilio C. Aquino, Ph.D., JD., Dean of San Beda University’s Graduate School of Law, offered valuable insights on Church and social issues.
Organized by the university’s Office of the Vice President for Mission and Identity, the event facilitated a deeper understanding of translating principles of faith into tangible actions in accordance with Catholic social teaching.
