The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) honored the invaluable role of parents in the journey of its graduating students during the Tribute to Parents 2025 held on August 20, 2025, at the James Ter Meer Gymnasium.
The celebration opened with a Eucharistic Mass at the Good Shepherd Chapel, followed by a program dedicated to recognizing the sacrifices and unwavering support of parents whose children are set to complete their tertiary education.
As part of the program, Trisha Angelica S. Bacud, a Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management graduating student, delivered a heartfelt tribute speech on behalf of the graduating class. Her mother, Dama Glo Carrie Bacud, expressed gratitude in her response, highlighting the profound joy and fulfillment of parenthood.
The event also featured a serenade for the parents and a symbolic parent-child dance, underscoring the strong bond between students and their families.
The Tribute to Parents stands as one of the university’s traditions to honor the indispensable role of families in shaping the academic and personal journey of every Louisian graduate.
