In its continuing advocacy to promote education and community transformation, the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT), through its University Libraries and Community Engagement and CICM Advocacies, donated 200 books, 410 bound magazines and journals, 308 unbound magazines and journals, and 56 vertical files (compilations of newspaper issues) to the Gattaran Municipal Jail.
The activity, conducted under the Project Build & Beautify Libraries, aims to assist requesting institutions in establishing and enriching their library collections, fostering access to knowledge, and supporting rehabilitation through education.
SJO4 Mary Noela D. Balao, Acting Municipal Jail Warden, expressed appreciation to USLT for the university’s generosity and unwavering commitment to meaningful community engagement.
