The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) Criminology department secured the championship title in the Silent Drill Competition during the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) held on March 27, 2026, at Cagayan State University – Andrews Campus.
The competition gathered schools with activated ROTC units across Region II, showcasing precision, discipline, teamwork, and military bearing through synchronized drill performances. Representing USLT were first- and second-year Criminology students, whose outstanding execution and dedication earned them the top distinction among participating institutions.
The recent announcement of the competition results brought pride to the Louisian community, highlighting the commitment of the university to excellence in leadership and military training.
In a message of congratulations, Criminology Department Head Jennifer C. Bancud commended the students for their remarkable achievement.
“Your achievement is more than just a victory; it is a reflection of the discipline, commitment, teamwork, and values that our institution strives to instill in every student. I am truly proud of how you represented our school with excellence and professionalism throughout the competition,” she said.
Bancud also expressed her gratitude to Sgt. Michael Mamauag for his patience, dedication, and tireless efforts in training and guiding the students throughout their preparation for the competition.
The championship victory serves as a testament to the hard work, perseverance, and collaborative spirit of the Criminology department, further strengthening the university’s commitment to developing disciplined and service-oriented future leaders.
