The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) once again became a home for generations of Louisian graduates as alumni from various batches gathered for the Grand Alumni Homecoming 2025 on December 27, 2025 at the James Ter Meer Gymnasium.

Spearheaded by the Class of 2000, the annual homecoming highlighted the enduring bond among alumni and their alma mater, bringing together former students in a celebration marked by fellowship, gratitude, and shared heritage. The event also paid special tribute to the Golden Jubilarians from the Class of 1975, commemorating 50 years since their graduation from the university.

In his message, University President Rev. Fr. Macwayne N. Maniwang, CICM, Ph.D., expressed appreciation for the alumni’s continued commitment to the institution. He underscored the vital role of alumni support in sustaining the university’s mission and advancing its growth, noting that the Louisian spirit remains alive through the active involvement of its graduates.

The Alumni Association President, BGen Nestor E. Narag Jr., emphasized the importance of unity and active engagement within the alumni community. He encouraged graduates to strengthen their connection with one another and reaffirm their shared responsibility in upholding the values instilled by the university.

Adding vibrancy to the celebration, the host batch, Class of 2000, presented a series of performances that brought energy and nostalgia to the program. The performances fostered a festive atmosphere as alumni joined in reliving memorable moments from their student days.

A significant highlight of the evening was the formal recognition of the Golden Jubilarians from the Class of 1975, who were warmly welcomed and honored for their lasting connection to USLT. The program also featured a Tribute to Teachers, allowing alumni to express heartfelt gratitude to the mentors who played a pivotal role in shaping their academic and personal journeys.

The event concluded with the ceremonial Turnover of the Key of Responsibility, symbolizing the continuity of the Grand Alumni Homecoming tradition and the collective commitment of alumni to preserve and strengthen the Louisian legacy.
