The faculty of the English Area of the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao Basic Education School (USLT–BES) conducted an In-Service Training (INSET) on Business Correspondence on January 24, 2025, at the Bulwagang Pacifico Casem.

This program aimed to equip the teacher with the crucial skills for technical writing to strengthen their capabilities in managing business-related communication.

The event commenced with an opening prayer, followed by the opening remarks of the BES Assistant Principal for Academics, Lovely Joy O. Ruiz, MST.

Continuing with the program, Romulo T. Banera, Jr., LPT, Lovely Jone B. Maximo, LPT, Kristine Ann A. Taguba, LPT, and Darwin F. Dumlao, MST, English and Technical Writing teachers for BES, stood as speakers as they discussed the varying parts found in a business letter.

To energize the crowd through an interactive icebreaker, Kristian Jay A. Sto. Tomas, MAEd, Jonel B. Rodriguez, MST, and Joy Xyza D. Moreno, MST, from the BES English Faculty, hosted a tongue-twister showdown.

After that, Liza P. Maquera, MAEd, BES English Area Head, led a lecture on the common mistakes found in business correspondence. Through this, she emphasized practical strategies to avoid grammatical and structural inconsistencies to guarantee clarity and professional degree writing.

Congratulations to the BES English Area for the success of the said event. May you continue striving for the benefit of your fellow faculty members and the Louisian community as a whole. This INSET program has indeed enunciated professional improvement and excellence in communication.
